Rich Cartier (that's me) was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. I graduated from CBC High School in 1972 (for those St. Louisans who just have to know). I am married to the former Cathy Scully (Southwest HS) since 1982 and have 3 grown children. The Cartier Family is well known in St. Louis with ownership in popular restaurants (PJ's Tavern in Kirkwood, and the DownUnder in Des Peres).

I started Cartier Real Estate in 1986, sold a couple of houses, then a few more, finally leaving my day job and devoting myself full time helping others buy and sell real estate. I am one of the fortunate people who love going to work. I have extensive knowledge of the entire St. Louis Metro Area and specialize in residential homes, not fixer uppers or investment property. 

David Kruse, my friend since kindergarten, handles both Commercial and Residential Sales. David has an excellent reputation in St. Louis, for both his integrity and his business expertise. 

We have a short mission statement - Represent our client to the best of our ability, regardless of cost to us in personal time.  We have the experience necessary to represent you. 
My phone is always on and I take calls without screening them. If I am with a client, I promptly return calls, usually within minutes. I am always on time or early to my appointments.
Our listing commission rates are better than most and I never give up service by having the Seller or Buyer do my job. We are members of the St. Louis Association of Realtors.
All of my Listing or Buyer's Agency Agreements can be cancelled at any time, for any reason. If you are not satisfied, neither am I. Special services are available for FSBO's (For Sale By Owners).
We only work with the best Lender and Title Companies in order to protect you - the customer. Referrals are available from any one of our clients.

I became a Christian in the late 70's which I mention, not to promote myself, but to give glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. This testimony holds me to higher business and personal ethics than any written one could.
